Duncan Speller

Global Co-chair of the International Disputes Division of Duane Morris’ Trial Practice Group and English-qualified barrister with more than two decades of experience of high-stakes international disputes. Duncan has acted as both an emergency arbitrator and as counsel in emergency arbitration proceedings under multiple sets of institutional rules. He has particular experience both of how to present an effective application to an emergency arbitrator and of the important tactical decisions along the way. Duncan has lectured on issues relating to international arbitration at some of the World’s leading academic institutions including the University of Cambridge, the University of Harvard and Tsinghua University.
